More Cumulus cuts - this time in North Carolina, Georgia, Florida & Alabama

Another day - more reports of staff cuts at Cumulus. At the 5-station cluster in Fayetteville, North Carolina, news reporter Steve Blackmon was let go from WFNC-AM (640), while WQSM-FM (98.1) severed ties with Matt Cain & Jenn LuMaye, and WRCQ (103.5) gave notice to Sean O’Brien & Ann Thomas. Marty Webb was cut loose from WFVL (106.9). Also: Radio-Info confirms that in Melbourne, Florida, WAOA-FM (107.1) PD Tony Banks is out, along with midday host Bill Robbins. Denny Stone, the PD/afternoon drive DJ of country station WHKR-FM (102.7), was also let go. In Macon, Georgia, WDEN-FM (99.1) lost midday host Gail Daniels, and WPEZ-FM (93.7) gave notice to morning show host Paul McCleland. In Huntsville, Alabama, morning man Todd Baker, brought in from Los Angeles just 6 months ago on WWFF-FM (93.3), tells Radio-Info he was the latest to receive a pink slip.

They failed to mention that Zander from B95 and DJ Whiz from Blazin’ were also let go from the Cumulus Cluster in Macon.
